Liberty View Towers on the Hudson in Jersey City, NJ - Ecker Window completed a 32-story twin tower window wall project on time and in budget.
The challenge of this unique project was that both towers were being built simultaneously. That in itself was challenging but the real key was that the towers had semicircular floor to ceiling window walls. The building structure was designed without the addition of any block or concrete walls. We worked after those floors behind the concrete pour and built a 705 foot continuous ribbon window system.
The project was an $8 million dollar window package utilizing the Wausau Window Wall System.
Morton Square
We are currently installing a $5.5 million dollar window system for a 3-building city block complex on the West Side Highway in Manhattan. Each building is utilizing a unique window system. There are sliders, casements and window wall system as well as curved 2-story windows systems. The windows were designed with a custom receptor system to allow a flush type installation into pre-cast panels.
